Cell viability

Cell-based assays are often used for screening collections of compounds to determine if the test molecules have effects on cell proliferation or show direct cytotoxic effects that eventually lead to cell death.

Organoid

Organoid research has been with 3D cell culture, stem cell and tissue engineering for over a century. An organoid is a self-organized 3D tissue that is typically derived from stem cells, and which mimics the key functional, structural and biological complexity of an organoid.

Real time PCR

It monitors the amplification of a targeted DNA molecule during the PCR (i.e., in real time), not at its end, as in conventional PCR. Real-time PCR can be used quantitatively and semi-quanti-tatively.
